Summer Employment Opportunity




 Do you love living in the Kootenay Outlet Area? Are you interested in local history?  And do you enjoy talking to people?

 The Interpreter works in the restored Anscomb Wheelhouse on the Balfour ferry landing, greeting visitors and sharing information about the displays, as well as answering questions about the area’s history. 

 Position:  Heritage Cultural Interpreter

 Location:  Balfour Ferry Landing

 Dates:  June 27 – August 31

 Hours per Week:  30

 Wage:  $15 per hour

 You will be required to work weekends and will have two weekdays of your choosing off per week.

 You must be between 15 and 30 years of age (Canada Summer Jobs grant requirement).

RDCK Area E Candidates’ Forum
